This is Dish Up! - My Week in Review, a weekly roundup of pictures from my everyday life. I can't wait for Spring, and the opening of the South of the James Farmers Market gives me hope the weather will turn any day now. I also had one of the most memorable meals of my life at Chez Francios and discovered my new favorite hotdog joint, Unleashed Gourmet Hotdogs. Enjoy!

The South of the James Farmer's Market is where I spend most Saturday mornings in the summer. Although there wasn't much produce available, I was happy to pick up some eggs and jam.

I couldn't get enough of these eggs - some were speckled and were beautiful shades of green and blue. They came from Bella Grove Farm in Goochland County, Virginia.

It's an old school French restaurant in the scenic country side, just west of Washington D.C.

The beef bourguignon with spaëtzles and mushrooms was killer.

The day after our very rich lunch at Chez Francois, I needed to eat a simple meal of chicken and orzo soup with peas and carrots.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Although it doesn't look like much from the outside, Unleashed Gourmet Hotdogs makes the best dogs in the city. Each hotdog is named after a different breed. I'd recommend the Kavkaz Sheppard ($4.19), a homemade lamb and beef sausage topped with marinated onion, cilantro, and homemade curry tomato sauce

Unleashed also sells sweet cheese and savory blintzes. The cheese was good but the savory is worth going back for.
