Portrait of a Foodie: My Week in Seattle and Good Times at Fire Flour Fork

Portrait of a Foodie is my new weekly column that shows pictures from my food-obsessed life. Some may consider it sad that most of the 11,000+ pictures on my computer are of food.  So the purpose of this post is to put them to good use, because God knows my Facebook friends don't care what I ate for dinner last week.

I recently went on an unforgettable company trip to Seattle, where we ate non-stop but somehow still managed to squeeze in time for sailing, zip-lining, and even a zombie preparedness class at REI.

Soon after I got back from Seattle it was time to go to Fire Flour Fork, a Richmond-based food symposium that had an impressive lineup of speakers, cooking demos, and a very generous tasting tent. It was really nice to catch up with the friends I'd been neglecting because of the recent move to the new house.  Hope you enjoy the pictures!
